“Hoarded grain rots!”

Dear Parishioners and Visitors,

As stewards of The Truth, Who is Jesus Christ, we prefer truth to lies, honesty to dishonesty, and compassion over manipulation. Freely and generously given to us, we use the materials of the earth to produce that which is good and promotes, encourages, and nourishes life. Standing and kneeling around the cross with their beloved Jesus’ precious body brutally attached to it while one of the women hugs Jesus close, are those who are good stewards of His full gift of all He is. Jesus was, is, and always will be the paradigmatic steward of all peoples in all the epochs of our human history.

With the tools of Prayer, Serving, and Sharing we use the resources of our growing virtues while abhoring any tendencies toward vice, and detaching ourselves from physical material things. The use of any material things in satisfying the basic human needs of others in their suffering is good and holy. Recall St. Dominic’s wisdom: “Hoarded grain rots!”

In God’s loving kindness,
